In the Gallery: Tiona Nekkia McClodden | White Cube
‘Because I use readymade objects, people assume that they have less of a handling, that they come ready. And my thing is, they have that, but there’s a whole relationship that I’m trying to engage.’ - Tiona Nekkia McClodden
Tiona Nekkia McClodden discusses her inaugural solo show with White Cube, titled ‘A MERCY | DUMMY’. Spanning two discrete bodies of work, McClodden takes two pivotal works of literature as her starting point to explore notions of interiority, performativity and violence.

In Focus: Takis at White Cube Paris | White Cube
Ikenna Malbert, Associate Director at White Cube, explores 'Takis: The Void' at White Cube Paris (2024–2025). Marking the first Takis exhibition in Paris since his passing in 2019, the show explores the artist's decades-long relationship with the city. Paris is a place that profoundly shaped the Greek artist's career and practice and many of the works on view in the exhibition were either conceptualised or developed in the city.

In the Studio: Darren Almond | White Cube
Darren Almond: ‘I wanted to make an exhibition that started in the spring, and I was drawn to that idea of […] rebirth within nature.’ On the occasion of his exhibition ‘Life Line’ at White Cube Mason’s Yard (2024), Almond discusses the inspiration and process behind the works on view.
Arriving at painting through what Almond describes as photography’s ‘failings’, it is the mutability of light and its multiplicity of sources that serves as a point of departure for the artist.
