In the Gallery: Danh Vo at White Cube Mason’s Yard | White Cube

Danh Vo discusses his installation at White Cube Mason’s Yard (2024).

The exhibition features a series of bronze sculptures, including one cast from a 17th-century wooden sculpture of St Catherine. A black walnut bird feeder embedded in the sculpture imbues the work with a new and unexpected purpose. The original works resides in Danh’s garden on his farm in Güldenhof, near Berlin, where it has been left to age in nature.
